Yvonne Edell Trimble, 76, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at her home in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born October 14, 1937 in Logan, Utah to Russell Dean and Gladys Wyman Alder. On May 14, 1954 she married Gerald Dee Trimble in Elko, Nevada.
Vonnie grew up in Logan. She raised her family in Sandy, Utah and Riverton, Utah. In 2001, she and Jerry retired to Mesquite, Nevada. She loved being around people, her favorite jobs were the ones where she could greet and talk to people. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry of Mesquite; four daughters: Gladys (David) Eddy of Dugway, UT; Terrie (Cosme) Padilla of S. Jordan, UT; Jody (Tony) Lopez of Riverton, UT; Jaimi (Ken) Pedersen of Boise, ID; 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one sister, Corrine (Sterling) Pierce of Pleasant Grove, UT; two brothers, Daniel (Sherry) Martin of Draper, UT and Raymond (Sonja) Martin of W. Jordan, UT. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys G. Martin; her step-father Ray Martin who was more than a step-father, he was more of a dad; one grandson, one brother and two sisters.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
