Yvonne Patricia Houston

Yvonne Patricia Houston 53, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, October 14th 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Yvonne was born September 5th 1963, in Boise Idaho, to Frank Cano & Patricia Winifred Steedon. Yvonne was a 52-year resident of Las Vegas. She was a graduate of Western High school and worked as a dental assistant for 20 years. Yvonne & Darrin met at the LDS singles ward and were later married in the St. George temple January 6, 1989.

Through her life, this elect woman fulfilled her callings as a wife, mother, aunt and friend with love, grace, elegance and class. Yvonne loved to travel and spend time with her family. She was a wonderfully generous person. She was always willing to do whatever was needed to help her loved ones and her church family. Yvonne loved her family, adored her dogs and will be greatly missed by all that have known and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank & Patricia. Three children Darrin Clark, Kaleena Patricia & Azarae Arlene; her father-in-law Florian Houston, along with her second family Russ & Colleen Aiken.

She is survived by her loving husband Darrin and their three children Marissa, BrookLynn & Remington. Her Mother-in-law Betty Houston, brother & sister-in-law's, David & Judy Houston, Bob & Lisa McIntyre, and George & Pam Browne. As well as numerous nieces and nephews, who all love her.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Tule Springs Stake Center, 7500 Tule Springs Road, Las Vegas, Nevada. There will be a viewing, Friday night from 6-8 and again Saturday morning from 9 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services, both at the Tule Springs Stake Center.
