Yvette Andrea Shaw

Yvette Andrea Shaw of Mesquite, NV, 49, unexpectedly passed away on November 29, 2015 in Mesquite, NV. She was born on July 20, 1966 in Pueblo, CO. to Charles Danny Salazar and Sylvia Dorthy Quintana. She married Jason Shaw on December 17, 1994. Yvette and Jason were not only partners at their motocross track in Mesquite, but they were best friends and soul mates finally living their dream together. After traveling the country they settled in Grand Junction CO, where they raised their children; Bobbi, Justen, and Nathan, and her grandchildren all of who meant the entire world to her. Being "gramma" and "crappa" was one of their greatest accomplishments. If you knew Yvette, you knew how humble, loving, caring and selfless she was. She loved helping everyone she met. Yvette spent her life serving those who mattered the most to her. The last two years of her life were spent with her husband and son building their dream and running the Mesquite MX Track . In between renovations, races and business work, she still found the time for her sewing and crafting. She had a beautiful soul and was a very talented woman who could do anything. She touched every life that she met and words will never be able to express how much she will be missed. Yvette is survived by her husband, Jason Shaw of Mesquite, NV; sons, Nathan Shaw of Mesquite, NV, Justen (Jessica) Shaw of GA; daughter and best friend, Bobbi Lynn Fleming (Nic Zmiewsky) of Grand Junction, CO, and their 5 children, her most precious grand-babies, Matthew and Jackson Springer, and Abby, Maddy and Charlotte Zmiewsky. She is also survived by her sisters, Maria Salazar, Corrine Salazar, Dorthea (Ralph) of Marasquin, LO; brothers, Mark (Toni) Salazar, and Charles Salazar. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sylvia D. (Quintana) Salazar and her brother, James Salazar. Services will be held Friday, December 4th at Canyon View Vineyard Church in Grand Junction CO. and on Friday, December 11th at Romero's Mortuary.
