Wilma Kohler

January 24, 1933 — June 3, 2012

Wilma Miller Rodriguez Kohler went into the loving arms of Jesus on June 3rd, 2012 after a 7 year illness of Alzheimer's. She passed away at her home in Hawthorne, California. Born January 24th, 1933 in Kansas to Emma and Earl Miller. She graduated Frankfort High School in 1951. She later moved to California where she met and then later married Joe Jay Rodriguez on January 7th 1952. They had 3 children; Susan (Greg) Fly of Logandale, Steve Rodriguez of Gardena, CA and William Rodriguez of Antioch, CA. After Joe's death in 1990 she later married Robert Louis Kohler in Las Vegas on her grandson Greg Fly Jr's birthday, May 6th, 1993. She is survived by her loving husband Robert Kohler, her devoted step-daughter Kathi Webb. And her faithful ex-daughter-in-law Sylvia Rodriguez was beside her in her passing. She spent her last 60 years in California. She has 6 grandchildren, Gerina and Greg Jr. Fly, Scott, Samantha, Justin and Joseph Rodriguez. Great grandchildren are: Gia, Genna,, and Gunner Fly. Wilma was the most unselfish, giving, caring, loving Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Great Grandmother that has ever walked the earth. She had many, many friends. She had Jesus as her personal Savior and being a devout Christian, she worked diligently in her church and witnessed for the Lord. Her later in left career was as a Cafeteria Worker in the schools in Los Angeles and later the El Camino college cafeteria. Where she retired into the CALPERS system. A Memorial Service is planned at a later date to celebrate her life. Interment will be in Logandale Cemetery under the direction of her family. Services for this will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Logandale Cemetery P.O. Box 1188, Logandale, NV, 89021, which is a non-profit organization for the cemetery's perpetual care.
