Wilma Hope Baldwin, age 95, died peacefully, April 6, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born October 15, 1915 in Lyman, Utah to David John and Hazel Dell Allen Callahan. On April 4, 1937 she married Adrian Que Baldwin in Wayne County, Utah. On August 19, 1960 they were sealed in the Los Angeles Temple. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2003 Wilma grew up in Wayne County, Utah. As a young married woman, she raised her family in Baldwin Park, California where she worked for North American Aviation. In 1960 they moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where she became an instructor at a cosmetology college. In 1985 they retired to Las Vegas, Nevada. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, crocheting and celebrating her Grandfather's Irish family traditions. Survivors include one son and two daughters: Nila (Chet) Yekin of Mesquite, NV; Ronald Q. (Lorraine) of St. George, UT; Bonita (Marion) Slape of Conway, AR; 12 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was the oldest of nine children and preceded by all of her three brothers and five sisters and by one grandson. A visitation and family service will be held Friday, April 8, 2011 from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, Logandale, Nevada. Interment will be Monday, April 11, 2011 at 1 p.m. (Utah Time) at the South Jordan Cemetery, South Jordan, Utah under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary.
