Willy Valdez

Aureliano Zuazua "Willy" Valdez, age 86, died Friday, December 17, 2010 in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born April 13, 1924 in Mexico. Willy grew up in Mexico. When he was a young man he immigrated to the United States in 1968, living and working in Texas. He later worked in California and Utah, then moved to Moapa Valley in the early '70's. He worked as a farmer and laborer for many years in Moapa Valley. He was a member of the LDS Church. He will be remembered as a good natured person that always was looking to help others. For the last nine years he has been cared fro by many loving people from both Moapa and Virgin Valley's as he has resided in Mesquite at Highland Manor. Survivors include a sister that live in Mexico and many friends from Moapa Valley and Virgin Valley. Graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Bunkerville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the Virgin Valley Mortuary.
