Willis James (Bill) Mcmaster

Willis James (Bill) McMaster, age 83, died Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his home in Mesquite, Nevada.  He was born July 30, 1937 in Buffalo, New York.  After graduating high school in Edmonds, Washington, he served in the Air Force from 1955-1959.  He married the love of his life, Glenda Colburn, on April 16, 1960 in Casper, Wyoming.

They lived in Tucson, Arizona where they had their two children.  After then spending ten years in Sacramento, California, the family spent 6 months in Bougainville, New Guinea before relocating to Sandy, Utah for the next 30 years.  In 2003, Bill and Glenda retired in Mesquite.

Bill’s passion was restoring old cars and touring with the VMCCA car club.  They also loved traveling the country in the RV while towing a vintage car.  They eventually visited all 50 states and particularly loved Hawaii.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda; daughter, Tracy (Doug) Beck,; son, Scott, four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and sister, Nancy (Darrel) McCarty.
