William Milan Potts

William Milan Potts, age 84, died Saturday, October 4, 2008 in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born June 14, 1924 in Lewellynn, Nebraska to Henry and Haley Potts. On February 16, 1946 he married Elizabeth Josephine in Castle Rock, Colorado. She preceded him in death on February 4, 1997.
William was a longtime resident of Green River, Wyoming before moving to Nevada 20 years ago. He was a trainman for the Union Pacific Railroad, a deputy of the Sweetwater County Sheriff's office, and a game warden for the Wyoming Fish and Game Department. He enjoyed his summer home at Gilbert Creek in the Uinta Mountains in southwest Wyoming.
He is survived by two sons, Johnn William (Diane) Potts of Ogden, UT and Kevin Joseph (Becky) Potts of Draper, UT; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and brother Melvin (Doris) Potts of Manhattan, KS.
