William Charles Moore

Bill Moore, Sr., age 73, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at his home in Mesquite, NV, surrounded by loved ones. He was born July 27, 1940 in Wabasha, Minnesota to Donald and Marie (Loechler) Moore. On November 19, 1960, he married Kathleen Walsh.

Bill grew up in Wabasha, Hastings and St. Paul. He raised his family in St. Paul and Woodbury. He owned and operated BJ&M Plumbing and Heating and later KB Services. He enjoyed golfing and fishing. He loved time with family, especially supporting his children and grandchildren in all of their activities. They began splitting their time between Woodbury and Mesquite, Nevada in the early '90's.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy; three sons: Bill Jr (Andrea); Larry (Mary); Steve (Jennifer); grandchildren: Joey, Greg, Bryan, Nikki, Patrick, Zach and Dillon; one sister and two brothers: Mary (Irv); Robert (Pat); Richard (Pam); three sisters in law: Alice, Karen and Chrissie. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and six brothers.

A memorial mass will be held at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 4125 Woodbury Dr., Woodbury, MN 55129, on Monday, January 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
