William Joseph Melton

William Joseph Melton, age 63, died December 17,2012 at his home in Beaver Dam, Arizona. He was born April 21,1949 in Joplin , Missouri to Gerald Melton and Lucille Hilton. He married Ellen Carner in Tucson, Arizona, 1976. William was raised in Grandview, Missouri. He was a Navy Corpsman and a Vietman Veteran. He was a Chess Master and enjoyed photography, and being on his computer. He also loved spending time with his loving wife, his dog and many nieces and nephews. William had no children but was a fantastic uncle and instrumental in the many lives that he touched. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Melton of Beaver Dam, AZ and three sisters of Oklahoma and Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Virgin Valley Mortuary, 320 E. Old Mill Road.
