William Roy Holt

William "Bill" Roy Holt, age 75, died in a car accident near Moapa, Nevada on Tuesday, December 19, 2017. He was born November 29, 1942 in Virginia to Cosby Roy and Margaret Virginia Moon Holt. In 1982, he married Sylvia Lee Kirkwood in Las Vegas.
Bill grew up in Portsmouth, VA. He entered the US Navy at a young age and enjoyed seeing the world. He raised his family in Nevada, 30 years in Las Vegas and the last 15 years in Overton. He loved going to the Sand Dunes of Dumont, riding Motorcycles and working on cars. He enjoyed flea markets and being with family.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Holt of Logandale, NV; two daughters: Bonita (Joseph) Owens of Overton, NV; Bobbi Barker of UT; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter and one sister, Kathy Hall of Richmond, VA.
Private services will be held at a later time.
