Our loving husband and father William "Bill" Cooper passed away on Monday, May 4, 2015. William Heber Johnson Cooper was born on August 25, 1924 in Overton, NV. He attended Moapa Valley High School and loved the Moapa Valley with all of his heart. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Texas, San Antonio Spanish Speaking Mission. He owned Cooper's Market in Logandale where the VIP Restaurant now stands. They carried everything the valley needed. He retired from the Clark County School District as Head Custodian of Bowler Elementary where the kids could tell when he was on the roof from his limp. But he would go over to his wife's first grade classroom and tapdance on the roof for them. He served as Justice of the Peace of Logandale & Overton from 1971-1987. His wealth of knowledge of Moapa Valley was immense and his memory was great. He rarely forgot a date or event and would talk for hours about his love of St. Thomas and the Moapa Valley.
