Willadean (Billie) Pinckert, 71, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, at Mesa View Regional Hospital. She was born May 3, 1942 in Lebanon, Oregon, to William and Aldena (Bolman) Madarus.
Billie and her three brothers spent their childhood enjoying adventures with their parents and extended family. There were many happy family memories of crawfishing, bbq's and playing cards. She made impressions on her children by ensuring they had a strong sense of family, duty, and service. She led by example, showing that service to her family and friends is important in life. Billie was well known by people in Albany, Oregon, working for several years at the local DariMart. The family was proud of their Czech heritage, attending the ZCBJ Lodge, and Billie encouraged her children to participate in lodge events.
Billie started the next chapter in her life when she married Ovid (Pink) Pinckert on June 27, 1992. Pink was exactly what Billie needed, their love was evident. Pink brought two more children for Billie to open her arms and heart to: OJ and Kim. Their marriage was full of adventures that took them traveling in their motor home, many times with one of the grandkids. When she and Pink moved to Mesquite in 2005, they became fast friends with neighbors Dick and Sharon. One of the highlights of Billie's week was to join Sharon at the casino and hit the penny slots. Billie was in her element when she had family or friends visit, always cooking favorite foods for them. She was a thoughtful person and everyone she loved knew that they could count on her to give all the support she could.
Billie is survived by her loving husband, Ovid (Pink) Pinckert, Mesquite, NV; her children, Greg Holm, Tacoma, WA; Kim Pope (Jared), Moses Lake, WA; her step-children, OJ Pinckert (Deanna), Colorado Springs, CO; Kim Seeley (Ryan), Lake Oswego, OR; grandchildren, Ryan Holm (Amanda); Sean Holm, Joshua McDougall, Zachary McDougall, Jordan Pope, James Pinckert, Anna Seeley, Brett Seeley; great grandchildren, Claira Holm, Layden Griffith; brother, Monte (Butch) Madarus (Marilyn), California; sisters-in-law, Karen Madarus and Judy Madarus, Oregon; Carol Massingill (Clyde), Texas; brother-in-law, Mike Pinckert (Trish), Texas; and special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by parents, William and Aldena; brothers, Larry Madarus and Edwin (Bud) Madarus.
