Wanda Jewel Hopkins

Wanda Jewel Hopkins, 83, passed away on December 2, 2012 at her residence in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born April 21, 1929 to Gilbert Robinson and Bessie Woolary in Springfield, Illinois. On March 1, 1947 she married Herbert Hopkins in East Carbon, Utah.
Wanda loved gardening, cleaning and spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed going out to the casino and gamble. She would play video poker but her favorite slot machine was the Barbarian Deuces. Wanda had a great life and will be truly missed by many.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Herbert; her son, Lane (Marcia) Hopkins; her daughter, Jana (Randy) Fox; her sisters; Mary Lacy, Norma Jean Boyer, and Betty Willhite; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sons, David and Dee; her sister, Margaret Zorn; and her brothers; Jerry Robinson, Bill Robinson, Joey Robinson, and Kenneth "Punkin" Robinson.
