Wade Briggs

Wade J. Briggs passed away at his Mesquite, Nevada, home, as he wished, on May 22, 2008, at 3:30 p.m. He was born Nov. 30, 1938, in Idaho to John Victor and Kate Lavon Briggs. He was an organist for the LDS 5th Ward in Mesquite until he could no longer play the organ.
He is survived by his wife of seven years, Rose Briggs; his beloved mother, Kate Lavon Briggs; two sisters, Beverly Sullivan and Norma Loraine Ekberg; three children, David Wartena and wife Becky, Darin Eric Wartena, Dara Lynn Brieter; five stepchildren, 27 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Virgin Valley Mortuary in Mesquite this Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held later in Boise, Idaho. My husband, my friend and partner in life will hold a place for me until we can be as one again a�" Rose Briggs.
