Virginia Dupee

May 21, 1943 — July 16, 2014

After a long battle with Alzheimer Disease Virginia Mae "Ginger" DuPee was peacefully called home to Heaven. Ginger was born the 7th child of ten to Clyde L. and Bernice A. Strebe on May 21, 1943 in Marshfield WI. Ginger grew up on her parents farm where she loved riding her horses and running free. After she graduated from Columbus High School in 1961 she worked for Hub City Foods and the Marshfield Clinic. It was soon after that she married her high school sweetheart, Everett Joseph DuPee Jr. Together they moved to southern California while Everett served in the U.S. Marine Corp. In 1969 Ginger gave birth to her miracle child Eric Matthew. Although around 1973 Virginia & Everett divorced Ginger remained close with Everett's family until her passing.

Ginger continued to live in Southern California working in both the banking and real estate industries. Ginger also proudly served as a Volunteer for the Lake Elsinore, CA Fire Department for several years. Ginger finally developed her own company, Production Systems Technologies, LLC developing work stations for companies like Bowing & Hughes. Ginger found the most joy in serving Calvary Community Church in Huntington Beach, CA before moving to Overton, NV where she found her new church family in Calvary Community Church in Overton.

Many knew Virginia as Ginger and even more knew her as "The Cookie Lady". Everyone from her clients at Bowing to the utility companies knew Gingers cookies. She was so generous with everything she had, especially with her talents with her delicious baked goods.
