Verna (Kerr) Hudrlik

February 21, 1942 — February 20, 2023

Logandale

Verna Lee Hudrlik, 81, passed away on February 20, 2023 in St George, Utah. She was born in Long Beach, California on February 21 1942 to Vernon and Mildred (White) Kerr. She was raised with a brother and sister. She graduated Robert A. Millikan High School.

She worked for Southwestern Bell and for Nissan motors where she kept track of their new cars. She was also a hair model and did staging for living areas in houses and apartments besides doing artistic welding as her dad was a welder. She was married to Jack Bestwick, truck driver, and she enjoyed traveling with him throughout the US. After he passed she found John Hudrlik on the internet whose wife had also recently passed. They were soon married at St Johns Catholic Church in Logandale, NV on Oct 24 2015.

Verna was the nicest person you could ever meet and made friends everywhere she went. She felt that her main responsibility was to make sure everyone around her was happy. She loved taking cruises and took several during their short time together. They had just returned from a 30 day round trip to Miami back and forth through the Panama Canal.

Verna is survived by her husband John, sister Vicky Toma,  brother Michael Kerr, daughter Tracy,  niece Kari Tillman and great nephew Brody Tillman.
