Utah Parker

Utah Carroll Parker, age 66, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Highland Manor in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born April 10, 1942 in Texarkana, Texas to Marion James and Martha Ann Sanders Parker. On June 3, 1967 he married Barbara Jean Patterson in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Utah grew up in Texas. As a young man he entered the US Army. He lived and worked in California and Montana before moving to Echo Bay Marina in Nevada in 1996, where he worked as a House Boat Manager. He later moved to Moapa, Nevada. He enjoyed being a mechanic, restoring old vehicles and guns.

Survivors include his wife of Moapa, three brothers and three sisters.

Private memorial services are to be held.
