Troy Karl Nielson, 18, passed away September 7, 2014 in Mesquite, NV. He was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Marissa Dolores Wilson and Theodore Reed Nielson on July 18, 1996. Troy attended J.L. Bowler Elementary, Hughes Middle School and Virgin valley High School. He graduated with the class of 2014. He was a member of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts, Troop 60. He was a talented and passionate musician. He enjoyed comedy and had a love for putting a smile on everyone's face. Troy was a tender, caring, inspirational young man. He was always the first person to come and console a person in their time of need. He is survived by his mother, Marissa; step-father, Ben Westra; father, Theodore Nielson; sister, Chloe; brother-in-law, Jeff Smith; nephew, Adrian Smith; grandmother, Judy Wilson; and grandparents Karl and Cece Nielson. He was proceeded in death by his brother, Trevor D. Nielson, and his grandfather, Francis D. Wilson Jr. Troy left our arms, but will forever walk among our hearts.
