Tristan Verne Ables

Tristan Verne Ables, age 17, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in Overton, Nevada from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born September 27, 1995 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Marshall Paul Ables and Kay Christine Henke Johnson. Tristan grew up in Ingleside, Texas. When he was in the eighth grade, he moved to Logandale, Nevada. He was currently in the eleventh grade at Moapa Valley High School. He was an active, fun, socialable and outgoing young man. Kind and easy going, loved by everyone. He enjoyed computers, sports and following his New Orleans Saints. Survivors include his father, Marshall and Eva Ables of Logandale, NV; his mother, Kay Johnson of Aransas Pass, TX; one brother and four sisters: Jason Hill, Krystal Johnson, Shayla all of TX, Amber and Angelle both of Logandale, NV; grandmother, Elaine Ables of LA; grandfather, Bo and Debbie Ables of TX; grandmother, Mary Henke of TX; grandparents, Ivan & Ruth Smith of KS and great grandmother, Miriam Smith of KS; numerous aunts, uncles & family members. A viewing will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 from 11 - 12:15 p.m. at the St. John's Catholic Church, 2955 St. Joseph, Logandale, Nevada. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the church. A Tribute and Celebration will follow the Mass in the fellowship hall.
