Trevor James Long

Trevor James Long, age 27, died Sunday, October 4, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He is now resting peacefully in the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born June 14, 1988 in Ely, Nevada to Wayne and Beady Long.

Trevor grew up in Ely where he graduated from White Pine High School. He loved riding horses, roping and cutting with his Grandpa. He shared a love of working on and admiring old cars with his Dad. He excelled at swimming and loved being in and around water. He worked in the mines in White Pine county and recently worked as a dispatcher for a trucking company in Mesquite, Nevada where he could be closer to his family. He was a tender hearted young man with a contagious smile and an ability to make you laugh with his quick wit and great sense of humor. He loved his dogs, his family and his friends. Trevor was only with us for a short time but gave us a life time of love.

Survivors include his parents: Wayne and Beady Long of Logandale, NV; grandparents: Melba Long of Mesquite, NV; Richard & Linda Saiz of Overton, NV. Aunts Tammy (Byer) Moore, Sheri Tolbert, Lee Ann (Larry) Wahlberg and Uncles Victor (Phyllis) Long, Rocky Long and Marty Tolbert, and many cousins that he considered his brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of Trevor's Life will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Calvary Chapel Church in Mesquite, nv at 786 W Pioneer Blvd.
