Tom Patton
Tom D. Patton, age 80, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tom was born on May 4, 1928 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Ted and Fannie McCall Patton.
At age 17, Tom enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He moved from Evanston, Wyoming to the Virgin Valley 25 years ago. He was a faithful member of Desert Rose Baptist Church, where he was instrumental in the funding and building of the church. Tom was also a Sunday School teacher.
He was a member of the V.F.W., Eagles, and the American Legion. He found Christ 11 years ago and since has been devoted to reading his Bible and devotional book. He was a huge supporter of Desert Rose Charities.
