Thomas Francis O'Connell

Thomas Francis O'Connell Jr, 70, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009 at his home in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born July 22, 1939 in Brooklyn, New York to Thomas Francis and Rita Davron O'Connell. He married Julie Ann Kelly on April 8, 1986 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Tom moved from Lancaster, California to Mesquite, Nevada in 2002. He loved his job with as a electrical engineer with Lockheed Martin. He enjoyed to travel wether it was in his RV or for work. He would always take the time to learn about the countries and places he visited. Tom was a member of the Mesquite Elks Lodge 2811. He was also a very good poker player and won many local tournaments.
Tom is survived by his wife Julie O'Connell; two children: Michael O'Connell of Seattle, Washington and Cythia Garland of Mesquite, Nevada; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Jerard O'Connell and a Granddaughter Roseynda Reyes.
