Teresa Monay Ramos

Teresa Monay Ramos, age 75, died Thursday, August 1, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She was born February 1, 1949 in Jalisco, Mexico to Trinidad and Sara Diaz Monay.  She married in 1975 to Aristeo Nunez Ramos in Ameca, Jalisco, Mexico.

Teresa moved to Mesquite, Nevada before settling into Moapa Valley in 1980’s.  She has lived here since, except time spent with her family in Las Vegas.  Teresa was a devoted wife and mother with endless love for her grandchildren. She was selfless to give her all and giving of her time to help others in need and give advice and talents to her family.  She loved to cook for everyone. Making Delicious food. She loved her Mexican heritage and enjoyed passing on this passion to her family.  She was an amazing role model, sharing her family talents, her culture and her religious devotion.  She will be remembered for her enormous heart of gold, laughter and story telling.

Survivors include her husband Aristeo of Overton; one son and three daughters:  Lilia Ramos of Las Vegas, Elvira Ramos of Logandale; Jorge (Katherine) Ramos of Las Vegas; Linda (Miguel) Montero of Florida; ten grandchildren; siblings: Porfirio, Francisca, Trinidad, Carolina, Blanca and Ignacio.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in her honor, Friday, August 9, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the St. John’s Catholic Church, 2955 N. St. Joseph St., Logandale, NV.  Visitation and viewing will be from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. followed by the Rosary.  Interment will follow the Mass in the Logandale Cemetery. Everyone is welcome to come and support our family during this loss and difficult time.
