Teddie Renee Vogel, 67, passed away on March 3, 2014 with family at her side. Renee was born on December 6, 1950 to Donald William and Irene (Sanchez) Anderson. Renee attended school at several different schools and graduated from Moapa Valley High School. She attended college at Chief Dull Knife College in Lame Deer for a short time. While her children were young she was an EMT for theMoapa Valley Volunteer Fire Department and later she worked as a substitute teacher in Colstrip. Our family lost its favorite star but it is her legacy that truly matters. Renee was a very private person but when she spoke she spoke with grace and kindness. She was a true lady, from the way she walked to the way she talked. She did it all with grace and modesty. Renee’s life was her family. To her Grandchildren she was “Their Nana” from Montana. When their birthday came they couldn’t wait for a birthday card from her. Christmas was so special to them when she came to visit, they loved performing Christmas programs for her. She always let them know that their Nana Cares. To watch her hold her great grand babies in her arms and see how she looked at them, you could feel the love she had for them. It was beautiful. She was always proud of her family. If you had fallin in life you could look up and there she was, telling you she was proud of you and helping you figure things out. Renee loved the outdoors, shooting guns, hiking and camping, jogging, horse riding, she treasured the summers spent with her grandchildren. She was a warm, loving, compassionate, understanding mother and will be greatly missed.
