Taylor Scott Fails

Taylor Scott Fails passed away on July 14th, 2013 at the age of 20, in Bunkerville, NV. He was born on December 28th, 1992 in American Fork, UT to Tracy Gerald & Nancy Turnbow Fails.

Taylor was known as Big Tay to his friends and family. Although he was small in stature his personality was larger than life. He grew up in Beaver Utah and Mesquite/Bunkerville Nevada. He attended Virgin Valley High School where he developed his love for wrestling, obtaining a State Championship as a sophomore.

He loved hunting, fishing, camping, rock climbing and canyoneering. Taylor's desire to be outside and active made him the person he was. He engaged in any activity that allowed him to spend time outdoors with his friends, family, and his favorite hunting dogs.

Taylor loved his family and made friends easily and had the ability to lighten any situation with his smile and laugh. He was dedicated to his friends and earned their loyalty as well. He loved to have a good time and help others do the same.

He was a hard worker and his employers praised him for his work ethic and ability to earn his pay. The workplace was never boring when he was around. He is survived by his parents, Tracy & Nancy Fails, his sisters, Jamie & Rachel Fails, of Bunkerville NV; Grandparents, Richard & Judy Turnbow of Springville UT, and Janice Fails of Minersville UT; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was greeted on the other side by his grandfather, William James Fails, who preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be on Friday, July 19th at 11:00 am at the LDS Stake Center located at 100 N Arrowhead Lane in Mesquite, Nevada. Viewing will be held Thursday, July 18th from 6-8 pm and Friday, July 19th from 9:30-10:30 at the same location. Graveside services will be held at the Minersville UT Cemetery on Friday, July 19th at 5 pm Utah time under the direction of Virgin Valley Mortuary.
