Tami Sue Maxwell, age 37, died Saturday, December 20, 2014 in Murray, Utah following complications of open heart surgery. She was born June 12, 1977 in St. George, Utah to Timothy Ute and Kathleen Marie Davenport Perkins. On July 26, 1997 she married Kenneth David Maxwell in Hiko, Nevada. On August 14, 1998 they were sealed in the Las Vegas LDS Temple.
Tami lived most of her life in Alamo. She struggled with Hodgkins Disease during her final year of high school and into her early twenties. She married her high school sweetheart and against all odds had five beautiful children. She worked for Johnson Feed Store where she did everything from the keeping the books to feed delivery. She loved to serve others, volunteering in the community and she loved serving at the Young Women Girls Camp. She will be remembered for her resilience, her smile and love of people.
Survivors include her husband, Ken; four sons and one daughter: Tabor, Brodey, Stockton, Braiden and Addison; her parents, Tim and Kathy Perkins and one sister, Kitten (Mark) Higbee, all of Alamo, Nevada.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 12 Noon at the Alamo Chapel. Visitation will be Friday, December 26, 2014 from 6 - 8 p.m. and again Saturday, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Alamo Richardville Cemetery.
