Sueanna Enneking

Sueanna Enneking, age 91, passed away Monday, February 22, 2010 in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born November 1, 1918 in Marion Indiana to Arthur and Collette Williams Hull.

Sueanna grew up in Marion, Indiana and married John Martin Enneking on October 16, 1939. Sueanna graduated from the nursing program at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. They lived in Indiana until the spring of 1960 when they moved from Tipton, Indiana to Page, Arizona.

Sueanna worked as a nurse her whole life. She worked as an industrial nurse on construction sites including the Salt River Project on the Glen Canyon Dam. She worked at hospitals and clinics. She worked as a nurse at home, caring for her husband after a car accident and for all those who needed her. Her nursing skills showed in her everyday life with her compassion and love that she gave so freely to those she met.

She enjoyed bingo and was known as "No win Sue" by friends she played with in Page, Arizona. She also enjoyed painting, traveling, going to the lake, and playing cards with family. She had a deep silent faith in the Lord and was a member of the Catholic Church.

She is survived by five children Kay (Paul) Foulke of Balsam Lake, WI, John (Sharon) Enneking of Peoria, AZ, Tom (Nancy) Enneking of Kennewick WA, Susan (Chuck) Large of Maringo, OH, Collette (David) Price of Mesquite, NV; 17 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John Enneking, grandson Martin Large, sister Catherine Groom, and son in law Andy Boss.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, February 25, 2010 at 7:00 PM at La Virgen deGuadalupe Catholic Church. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 4:30 to 6:30 PM and a rosary will be held at 6:30. Burial will be at the Page Cemetery in Page Arizona on Friday, February 26, 2010 at 12:00 (Arizona Time).
