Steven Norick

Steven Marvin Norick, age 66, died Monday, October 11, 2021 in Mesquite, Nevada.  He was born September 18, 1955 in San Diego, California to Marvin Carl and Judy Ellen Norton Norick.  On September 4, 1973,  he married Gail Mosmon.  They had two daughters, Sherene and Kristine.  Gail and  Sherene  tragically died on November 9, 1975.  Steven married Lora Weedall on July 2, 1977. They had two children, Jennifer and Scott.
Steven grew up in Southern California.  He enjoyed his time serving in the US Air Force, learning to work on missiles.  He later earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Cal Poly Pomona in Accounting.  He worked for many years as an accountant.  Steven changed his profession and began his own business building computers, specializing in Networking. He enjoyed playing guitar and listening to music. He also had a passion for science fiction and playing video poker.   In his later years, he came to love caring for animals, but his greatest joy came from time with family.
Survivors include two daughters and one son: Kristine (Chad) Trotter of San Clemente, CA; Jennifer (Gilbert)  Arroyo; Scott Norick, both of Victorville, CA; eight grandchildren and two sisters, Vicky of CA and Teri Boyd of UT.
