Stephen Paul Hamilton

Stephen Paul Hamilton, age 79, died Saturday, December 4, 2021 in Mesquite, Nevada.  He was born January 29, 1942 in Gardiner, Maine to Ernest Nelson Hamilton and Maxine Erma Belyea.  On July 22, 1965 he married Ramona Faye Gimbel in Buena Park, California.
Stephen grew up in Connecticut.  He served in the US Navy before settling in Southern California where he raised his family working in telecommunications.  He retired to St. George, Utah in 2004 and finally settled in Mesquite in 2014.  As a young man he enjoyed fishing and camping with his family.  He enjoyed guns, shooting targets and exploring the desert.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ramona; four sons: Ernest of KY; Stephen (Loretta Arambula) of CA; Eric (Shelly) of NV; Jason of CA; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021from 3 - 3:30 p.m. with a memorial service starting at 3:30 p.m. at the Virgin Valley Mortuary.  Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.virginvalleymortuary.com
