Stan Hatton
Stanley Marvin "Stan" Hatton, age 69, died Friday, February 6, 2009 at his home in Alamo, Nevada. He was born November 5, 1939 in Los Angeles, California to Norman Edgar and Marie Anna Lester Hatton. On April 10, 1970 he married Glenda Kay Perdue in Fayetteville, Arkansas. They were later sealed in the St. George LDS Temple.
Stan grew up in Southern California. After serving in the US Army he moved to Arkansas where he met Glenda. They later moved back to California, then to Idaho before settling in Alamo in 1982 where they raised their family. Stan enjoyed motorcycles, cars and everything fast. His greatest joy came from being with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda; two daughters and one son: Melissa (Sergio) Linares of Alamo, NV; Teresa (Scott) Hunt of Salt Lake City, UT: and Marvin (Kaylynn) of Pahrump, NV; eight grandchildren and one brother, Gilbert of Hawaiian Gardens, California. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, (Catalina Sara Marie Linares).
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 13, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Alamo LDS Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the chapel prior to services. Interment will be in the Alamo Cemetery under the direction of Moapa Valley Mortuary.
