Sione Mounga "John" Fakakovikaetau

Sione Mounga "John" Fakakovikaetau, age 81, died Saturday, March 21, 2020 in St. George, Utah. He was born March 20, 1939 in Nukunuku, Tonga to Finau and Selai Fakakovikaetau.

John grew up in Nukunuko. He moved with his family to Southern California when he was thirteen. He raised his family in Southern California and relocated to Mesquite, Nevada in 2016. He enjoyed watching the news and football and time with his family.

Survivors include his daughter, Katy Collier; step daughter, Daphne Smith; step son, Paul Parsons all of Mesquite, NV; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was the youngest of thirteen children.

A Graveside service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Noon (PST) in the Beaver Dam Cemetery in Beaver Dam, Arizona. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book at www.virginvalleymortuary.com
