Shelley Naisbitt Nielsen
April 26th 1951- April 06th 2022
Age: 70
Born in Logan, Utah
When Shelley was young, one of her favorite things to do once the chores were done she and her sister Sue put on their matching blue bathing suits with starfish. They would run down to Bear Lake to build sand castles, swim, and play like there was no tomorrow.
As the years went by, the passion for being outdoors never faded. Shelley would take her children camping and fishing every summer. When her sons and daughter had children of their own, they all loved to bring her along on their camping trips! If you couldn't find Shelley, all you had to do was look out at the lake, and she would be there, floating around in her floaty.
Shelley and her husband Ron traveled all over the world. It would be easier to write down where they haven't been than to say where they have. When Ron was driving on their long vacations, Shelley would crochet to keep her mind occupied because Ron's driving would give her anxiety.
Even during her downtime, she would sit in her chair and watch TV, making blankets and hoodies for whoever asked for one. If she wasn't making blankets, she would be doing her cross-stitch. When she needed to take a break from all that sewing, you'd think she would just sit back and relax, but...nope, it would be an excellent time to start a puzzle.
I guess you could say when she was going for her daily walks was when she would have time to reflect on life or just to recharge her batteries or just focus on nothing. For all we know, it was just Shelley time.
Shelley has been a very active person her whole life, never slowed down. Her life was very meaningful. Shelley was loved by all whom she encountered.
Anybody that knew her will never forget how amazing her hair was. It was her trademark.
