Sheila Mae Christian-Dunning
Mesquite, Nevada - Sheila Mae Christian-Dunning, age 39, passed away from Cancer in her home on Sunday, September 27th 2020 at 10:16 p.m. She was born August 09, 1981 to Laura Jean Christian and Robert Christian. She married Christopher David Dunning on September 15, 2012 in Visalia, California.
Sheila was raised in Alaska where whe loved to camp and fish for Wild Salmon with her brother and parents. In 2001 she graduated from Virgin Valley High School in Mesquite, Nevada.
Sheila was full of love, care and kampestein. She ha a wonderful zest for life. She was always considerate of others and genuinely concerned with treating people with kindness and care. She touched the lives of so many people. She was deeply loved and admired for all of her strength and courage. Sheila was very artistic. She loved animals, especially cats. She loved hiking in nature, star gazing and so much more. She was always very passionate about family and was always the strongest, most courageous young woman anyone could ever have known.
Sheila brought so much joy and happiness to others with her sweet sense of humor, her kindness, and her unstopable optimistic outlook on life. Sheila will be forever in our hearts and forever loved.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Christopher Dunning; "fur-baby", Annabeth; mother, Laura Jean Ferry, NV; brother, Lenny Kulzer, FL; nephew, Damien Kulzer, FL; nieces, Alislyn Dunning, FL, Avery Dunning, OH; grandparents, Rita and Allen Brandenbury, AZ; uncles, Clinton Littlefield, GA, Melvin Brandenburn, TX: Aunt, Donna Brandenburg, IA; and several cousins. She was preceeded in death by her father, Robert Charles Christian, WI; Grnadparents, Carleen Lawrence, CA; Clarence Littlefield, WA.
The family will hold a ‘Celebration of Life’ service for Sheila on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Trailhead Park, Mesquite, NV 89027.
