Shanna Pulsipher Benson

Shanna De Pulsipher Benson, age 41, died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at her home in Orem, Utah. She was born December 3, 1972 in St. George, Utah to Dennis K. And Rhonda Lee Talbot Pulsipher. On May 14, 1994 she married Craig W. Shirley in Moapa, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Las Vegas Temple. They had two children and were later divorced. On December 26, 2013 she married Jason David Benson in Payson, Utah.

Shanna grew up in Moapa, Nevada. Her adventurous spirit allowed her to live in many places throughout the United States, but her roots were always in Moapa. She was a delightful person, with energy and excitement for everything. She filled up a room with her smile and love of people. She doted on her son, spoiled her nieces and teased her nephews. She enjoyed finding ways to serve everyone she touched. She will be remembered as loving mother and thoughtful friend.

Survivors include her sweetheart, Jason and his two children, Karson and Taylor of Orem, UT; her son, Caiden of Las Vegas, NV; her parents, Dennis & Rhonda Pulsipher of Moapa, NV; grandfather, Howard Pulsipher of Moapa, NV; grandmother, Belva Talbot of Overton, NV; two brothers and one sister: Dusty of Borne, TX; Chet and Cami Pulsipher both of Moapa, NV. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Brooke, her grandmother, June Pulsipher and her grandfather, Harvey Talbot.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Moapa LDS Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Warm Springs Cemetery.
