Scott Edward Webb

December 10, 1965 — November 30, 2020

Peoria, AZ

Scott Edward Webb, age 54, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at his home in Peoria, AZ. He started his life adventure December 10, 1965 born in St. George, UT to Edward Milo Webb and Tonya Ann Hughes. He was raised by his mother and stepfather, Merlyn Bigelow, in Mesquite, NV where he graduated from Virgin Valley High School as a proud Bulldog. He served an LDS mission to Dallas, TX and when he returned home in 1986, he married Kara Hall. They had three children-- Alicia, Kyle, and Derek– and later divorced. In November of 1998, Scott married his beloved Kimberly Barton in Wylie, TX adding three more children to the Webb family-- Lauryn (our angel), Jacob and Jori.
Growing up in Mesquite, Scott excelled in all sports and went on to play basketball at Salt Lake Community College. He moved his family to Dallas, TX to finish his education, and graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science Business Administration, then moved back to Mesquite, NV to work with his favorite aunt. Following his ambitions to be an innovative businessman, Scott started his insurance career in Dallas after following his kids back to Texas. In 2010, he accomplished a dream to get back west bringing Scott, Kim, Jacob and Jori to their home in Peoria, AZ.
Scott will always be remembered for his strong work ethic, dynamic leadership, and his warmth and generosity with family and friends. His passion for the great outdoors included fishing, hunting, riding recreational vehicles, and spending time on many a golf course. He really loved his yearly pig hunts, not only for the hunt, but for the time spent with his family and friends. He was always proud as he watched his children grow and loved being around his family. He was especially excited when he became a Grandpa to Savannah, Austin, and Holland. Scott was larger-than-life itself. He was fun, witty, charismatic, and abundantly generous. For those who knew and loved him, life without his commanding presence will never be the same.
Survived by his: wife, Kim Webb of Peoria, AZ.; children: Alicia (Jeff) Whitaker of Wylie, TX; Kyle (Amber) of Hayward, CA; Derek (Montana) of Sandy, UT; Jacob and Jori both of Peoria; three beautiful grandchildren; his parents, Merlyn & Tonya Bigelow of Mesquite, NV; sisters: Dana (Brent) Wainwright of Live Oak, FL and Kimber (Heber) Fierro of Las Vegas, NV; brothers: Brett (Rachel) Bigelow of Peoria, AZ and Blair (Teira) Bigelow of Charlotte, TX.
