Sandra (Sandi) Jean Marie (Peterson) Northon

Sandra (Sandi) Jean Marie Northon, age 73, passed away suddenly Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at her home in Mesquite, Nevada.  She was born February 27, 1947 in Oakland, California to Kenneth Eugene Peterson and Jeanette Marie Coykendall Peterson.

Sandi lived in San Jose, California where she raised her two daughters. She lived her life as an adventure, always wanting to experience new things. She enjoyed golfing, hiking, dancing to live music, bike rides and drawing. Her biggest passion was for cooking and wine tasting. Above all of that, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She worked as a procurement agent for various government contractors before she retired to Mesquite, Nevada in 2019 where she had her dream home built.

She is survived by her two daughters: Natalie Northon and Tasha Mullen of Oceanside, CA; three grandchildren, Nicollette Yates of Livermore, CA, Samuel Casillas, and Sadie Casillas of Oceanside, CA; two brothers and three sisters: Beverly Picard of Klamath Falls, OR; Nancy (Allen) Holt of Windsor, CO; Jeffery Peterson who preceded her in death in 1995; Richard (Jill) Peterson of Oakdale, CA and Kathy (John) Mynear of Klamath Falls, OR.
