Sandra Louise Baudino, 75, passed away on June 5, 2021 in her home in Las Vegas, NV. Sandra was born on June 11, 1945 in St. Louis, MO to Raymond Richard Johnson and Helen Louise Caldwell. She spent much of her childhood playing with her brothers, Richard and Bruce. Education was important to Sandra, and she pursued a college degree out in Washington state. She graduated, and started working at a brokerage firm, Merrill-Lynch, where she met Lawrence (Larry) Joseph Baudino. It was love at first sight, and they were married on Christmas Eve in 1966. In 1968 Sandra and Larry lost their son, Steven, at birth. Larry and Sandra worked together to overcome these trials as a young family. They later went on to raise their son, John Richard, and their daughter, Lynette. Years later, their grandsons, Anthony and David moved into their home, and they put all their attention in their upbringing. They found joy in raising children together, and opened their home to children in the foster care system. They would show genuine love to these children and were excellent care-givers, even with the health struggles they faced. Sandra and Larry loved to travel, and they had visited every state over their many road trips and vacations.
After retiring to Las Vegas, Sandra was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Larry was baptized a few years later. They were sealed in the Las Vegas, NV Temple on September 10, 2016. Her joy was in working at the temple and doing service there. She loved the friends she made there, and the service she and her sisters would provide. She loved spending time with her family.
Sandra is survived by her children, John and Lynette; her four grandchildren, Anthony, David (Holly), Michael, and Katelyn; her great-grandchildren, Matthew, Ivory, Xandar, and Braxton; and her brothers, Richard (Mariza) Johnson and Bruce Johnson. Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Baudino, her son, Steven; and her parents.
