Samuel Bruce Lewis, 82, passed away on June 18 in Logandale, NV. Samuel was born on August 22, 1939 in Anson, TX to Jefferson Watson Lewis and Oma Ruth Sims. He married Barbara Jean Brians in Anaheim, CA on June 5, 1987.
Samuel worked as an electrician for many years and owned his own business, Sambarco in California. In 1991, he and Barbara moved to Nevada, and later to Logandale, NV where he worked with his brother. He was a kind and caring person, and liked to help people. He loved to go fishing, and enjoyed playing golf.
Samuel is survived by his wife, Barbara Lewis; his children, Bruce Alan Lewis, Shelly Lorene (Victor) Vert, Rhonda Ruth (Brett) Otte, and William Patrick; his stepdaughters, Tammara (Mauricio “Mo” Valarde) Detviler and Denise Kline; his eight grandchildren, and his eight great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his five brothers, Sidney, Stanley, Shelton, Steven, and Stover.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hinckley Chapel in Logandale, NV. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book at www.moapavalleymortuary.com.
