Sally Joanne Martin

It is with deep sorrow we mourn the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Sally Martin. She was born on February 11, 1939 in Boise Idaho to Freeman and Elva Dean. After her 18th birthday she joined US Marine Corps. While there she met and married Ray Bradley who later passed away while fighting for his country in Vietnam. On December 8, 1967 she married Del Martin. Sally and Del spent 49 years together and loved each other deeply. Sally is survived by her 3 Children, Diana Schapiro and husband Tim Schapiro, Steve Bradley and Shawn Martin, her sister Paula Faulkner and husband Len Faulkner, 6 grandchildren, Brittany Deges, Blake Schapiro, Taylor Bradley, Sierra Bradley, Jayci Martin, Nicholas Martin and 4 great grandchildren. Sally was a friend to everyone and always had a kind word to say. She had a great love of her family and it showed in everything she did. If you asked any of her children which one was her favorite, they would all say it was them. She loved taking pictures with her old 35 mm camera with the manual advance, and you were never allowed to leave without her getting at least one picture. Services will be held on Friday February 12, 2016 at Virgin Valley Mortuary. Viewing will begin at 9:00 AM followed by funeral service at 11:00 AM and then graveside service. Following all services there will be a celebration of her life hosted by her family, for all friends and relatives at 343 Poppy Lane Mesquite, NV
