Ruth Arlene Milne

November 26, 1931 — May 5, 2013

Ruth Milne, age 81, died peacefully Sunday, May 5, 2013 in her Mesquite home. She was born on November 26, 1931 in Pawnee City, Nebraska to Armen P. and Loreen Bock. She married her high school sweetheart, Elvin Milne August 18, 1949. Elvin proceeded her in death in 2003. They were married a few weeks short of 50 years.

Ruth and Elvin moved their family to the Denver area in 1959 from Nebraska. She worked as a dental assistant in Nebraska and Denver. They traveled for 3 months every spring in their motor home until they discovered Mesquite and decided to retire there in 1998. Ruthie enjoyed her morning coffee with her friends at a local casino. Ruthie called it the daycare center. Ruthie always kept in touch with her friends in Pawnee City and the Denver area. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, daughter, Donna R. Peavy of Mesquite, NV and son, Donald L. (Theresa) Milne of Littleton, CO; her grandchildren, Dena R. (Jon) Carson, of Germantown, MD, Cynthia L. (Alberto) Tapia of Superior, CO, Luke L. (Shannon) Milne of Littleton, CO, Brianna M. (Jorge) Aguayo of Wheat Ridge, CO and Nicole A Milne of Littleton, CO and her great grandchildren, Alexx J. Tapia of Superior CO, Tyler R. and Haylie M. Milne of Littleton, CO and Molly R. and Sam P. Carson of Germantown, MD.

Ruth is also survived by three siblings, Doris (Rex) Brown of Spring Lake Park, MN, David (Judy) of Beatrice, NB and Carolyn (Jerry) Hofrichter of Surprise, AZ and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held this summer in Golden, CO.
