Ruth Lyman McCullough, 80, passed away on November 4, 2016 in St. George, UT. She was born on June 19, 1936 in Cedar City, UT to Rulon McGregor Lyman and Mary Welch. Ruth married Joe McCullough in Bunkerville, NV on December 20, 2014.
Ruth was raised riding and training horses. She loved roping and racing horses, competing in many rodeos over the years. She was also a talented singer and played guitar and piano. She would write songs, and play them at large events, and would sing at home often. Apart from that, she was also a skilled painter. In her later years, Ruth loved to go riding on the Razor with her friends, and go shopping with Eva (Buttons). She had a wonderful group of friends that would get together for lunch every week. However, once Ruth met Joe, she began spending all of her time with him. They always held hands anywhere they went, and Joe always kissed her as she got into and out of the car. Ruth and Joe also loved going to the St. George Temple together. Ruth loved having family around, and was known by her children as the best mom in the world. She was known for her great smile and her laughter.
Ruth is survived by her husband, Joe McCullough of Bunkerville, NV; her four sons: Doug Jensen (Pam) of Hurricane, UT, Rulon Hardy (Tanna) of Provo, UT, Scott Hardy (Tina) of Orderville, UT, and J.P.
