Gerald Wayne "Rusty" Winfield, II, age 48, died Sunday, April 12, 2020 at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born December 2, 1971 in San Diego, California to Gerald Wayne and Gail Ann Hobbs. On November 17, 2001 he married Kirsten Ada Isom in Las Vegas.
Rusty grew up in Bullhead City, Arizona. He raised his family in Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked for several construction companies, but ended his career at VT Construction as a heavy equipment operator. Rusty loved the outdoors. His focus was his family and close friends. With them, he enjoyed wakeboarding, snowboarding, riding motorcycles, ATV’s, fishing and camping. He was an avid supporter of attending Monster Jam annually with his boys and also enjoyed visiting the family ranch and cabin.
He is survived by his wife Kirsten; daughter, Taylor Callis of Bullhead City, AZ; three sons, Devin, Kamron and Tristan all of Las Vegas, NV; father, Jerry Winfield of OH; mother, Gail DiStefano of Colorado Springs, CO; one sister, Helena Ganta of OR and one brother, Charlie (Jayme) English of Bullhead City, AZ.
Graveside services will be held Friday, May 1, 2020 at 2 p.m. in the Panaca Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, May 1, 2020 from 10 - 11 a.m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary, 5090 N. Moapa Valley Blvd., Logandale, NV. Friends and family are invited to sign our online guest book.
