Roy Ernst, 87, passed away on March 23, 2017 in St. George, UT. Roy was born in Wakapala, SD on May 24, 1929 to Jacob Ernst and Ella Schnaubel. He married Gladys Zeeb on March 12, 1955 in Moorehead, MN.
Roy was a good friend to everyone, and loved to joke with any one near him. He loved hearing good jokes as well as tell them. He loved his job selling livestock and went fishing as much as he could in his spare time. He enjoyed his children and loved to spend time with them and play cribbage. Roy loved his wife Gladys.
Roy is survived by his wife, Gladys Ernst, his son Corey Ernst (Berni) of Cheyenne, WY, his daughter Lori Shields (Myron) of Littlefield, AZ, and his sister Annette Berlin.
Roy will be laid to rest on March 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mesquite City Cemetery in Mesquite, NV. The family requests that in lieu of flowers to make donations to Alpha Hospice of St. George, UT. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their "Guest Book".
