Roy Allen Cook, 71, passed away on February 14, 2021 in Overton, NV. Roy was born on September 11, 1949 in San Diego, CA to Dee Cook and Barbra Short.
Roy worked as a sign hanger in Las Vegas for JRY , YESCO, and Nevada Signs for many years, installing many of the famous signs along the Las Vegas Strip. He was a big NASCAR fan. He liked to tinker, and build and fix things. He loved his grandkids and his dogs, and would always have junk food lying around for them. He was a nice guy who liked to joke around, and would always help his neighbors in need.
Roy is survived by his children, Richard Cook, James Cook, and Jody Petty; his daughter, Samantha Carter; his grandchildren, DJ Carter, Jaiden Cook, Megan Cook, and A.J. Neuburger; and his dogs, Zanna and Brandy.
