Ronald Grant Moser

March 28, 1948 — May 11, 2016

Ronald Grant Moser of Mesquite Nevada passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home on May 11, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones after a very brief and sudden bout with cancer. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Grant and Betty Jean Moser on March 28, 1948. Growing up he enjoyed many sports such as football, baseball, boxing and swimming. Ronnie graduated from Granite High School in Salt Lake City, and shortly after joined the Army where he became the personal driver for General Fredricks at Nado. After being honorably discharged from the Army, he returned to the states where he married his first wife and on December 27, 1971 his son, Travis, was born. He later divorced and met Arlene Madsen, who became his best friend, and on November10, 1985 they were married in Elko, Nevada. They have been best friends and inseparable buddies for 30 years. Together, with Travis, they have enjoyed a very happy life together. Later in life Ronnie became an avid Gold and Precious Gem Prospector which he loved and enjoyed doing. As a hobby, he loved to make jewelry for his family and friends. Ronnie was a real character and made good friends throughout his life, some of his friends have been his friends since grade school. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Ronald is survived by his wife, Arlene Moser; son, Travis Grant Moser (Angie); grandson, Skyler Grant Moser, and great grandson, Niko Grant Moser. There will be a Graveside Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday May 21, 2016 at the Mesquite City Cemetery.
