Ronald Meyer

Ronald N Meyer, age 79, died Friday, March 28, 2014 in Mesquite, Nevada. He was born May 21, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Willy Sylvester and LuElla Dean Meyer. In February of 1974, he married Berniece Joyce Bill in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death on August 4, 2006.
Ronald grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. He served in the US Marine Corps during WWII in the Pacific Theater. He raised his family in Salt Lake City, then retired to Logandale, Nevada. He enjoyed puttering in his workshop. He was a avid golfer for many years. The family would like to express their gratitude for the many kindnesses and care given to Ron by his neighborhood family in his final years.
Survivors include his daughter, Nancy (Gary) Knight of Vancouver, WA; one granddaughter, Michelle (Craig) Hacker of Prescott Valley, AZ and one grandson Jeff (Heather) and two great grandchildren, Cody and Sarah Hacker. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bill.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 9:30 - 10:30 a..m. at the Moapa Valley Mortuary Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. at the Logandale Cemetery.
