Ronald James Mauser

Ronald "Ron" James Mauser, 71, passed away on December 3, 2021 in Mesquite, NV. He was born on July 8, 1950 in Youngstown, OH to Bernard and Marion (Bartz) Mauser. Ron graduated from Liberty High School in 1968 and served with the Ohio National Guard from 1969 to 1975. During these years he married, briefly attended Youngstown State University, and began a career at Ohio Edison Power Company where he would retire some 30 years later as a foreman. A skilled bowler and avid Scrabble player, Ron will be especially remembered, among other things, for the many hours he spent in earlier years playing catch with his son.
Ron is survived by Elizabeth Hess (S.O.); his son, Dr. Christopher (Laura) Mauser along with four grandchildren; his siblings, Michael (Dorothy) Mauser, Bernie (Debbie) Mauser, Mariellen (Dr. Robert) Sinsheimer, and Patricia (Dr. Paul) Gottschall; along with a large extended family.
