Roger L. Dibenedict

January 23, 1925 — March 4, 2017

Roger Louis DiBenedict, 92, passed away on March 4, 2017 in Mesquite, NV. Roger was born on January 23, 1925 in Cleveland, OH to Benjamin DiBenedict and Rosa Primavera. He married Patricia Timko on January 21, 1963 in Cleveland, OH.

Roger loved music and was a talented musician. He played banjo, guitar, bass and several other instruments, and spent time as a music teacher at a conservatory teaching classical music. He and his wife played often for the communities where they lived, and were part of several bands, such as the Sunset Trill Fiddlers. Roger and Patricia lived in Parowan, UT for twenty years and had several dogs and horses. Roger would spend his free time working with the community theatre. Roger was very proud of his country, and served in the United States Navy during WWII. Roger loved life and loved his family.

Roger is survived by his wife Patricia DiBenedict; his two daughters: Linda Apicella (Peter) and Debra Pomeroy (Rob); his seven grandchildren; and his ten great-grandchildren.

Mass services will be held at the La Virgen De Guadalupe Catholic Church, 401 Canyon Crest Blvd., Mesquite, NV. on March 22, 2017 at 9:00 am. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their "Guest Book".
