Roger Allen Crouch, age 81, died Monday, March 21, 2022 in St. George, Utah. He was born May 4, 1940 in Bremerton, Washington to Leonard and Helen Crouch. On August 16, 1975 he married Janice Lee DeLaGrange in the Port Orchard, United Methodist Church, Port Orchard, Washington.
He lived most of his life in Bremerton with the exception of five years working for the federal government in Anchorage, Alaska. The past 15 years he enjoyed the mild winters and golf in Mesquite, Nevada. When asked why he and Jan moved to Mesquite, he would always say that he wanted to go where he would be warm and dry. He had a fulfilling career in computer technology for the federal government, earning the responsibility as a contracting officer for the purchasing of computer services and equipment. Always active, his parents had him on a tennis court and taught him to play tennis at the age of four. He continued playing tennis for years being a member of the high school and college tennis teams and was a charter member of the Bremerton Tennis and Swim Club and in 1975 he served as their Board President. Along with enjoying the performing arts, he and Jan loved to travel.
Survivors include his wife Janice of Mesquite; two daughters and one son: Kristin (Ron) Zelenka of Clancy, MT; Janel (Malvin) McFetridge of Walla Walla, WA; Aaron (Jodi) Crouch of Goodyear, AZ; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren and one brother, Dennis (Cinda) Crouch of Bothel, WA.
Psalms 73:26 “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever”. Roger may have lost his battle with lung cancer, but his strong faith and belief in God carried him through to the end. “My love, you will forever be missed and loved. ALWAYS!
